Yifei Xu (Hsu)

I'm a second-year Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Tandon School of Engineering, New York University in Brooklyn, New York, under the supervision of Prof. Yuzhang Lin. My office is Suite 200, 5 MTC, Brooklyn.

I hold dual Master’s degrees from UC Berkeley (IEOR) and Tsinghua University (Electrical Engineering), where I focused on large-scale optimization and machine learning for industrial and renewable energy systems, advised by Prof. Ye Guo. During my time at Berkeley, I contributed to a capstone project funded by TotalEnergies and the eCal Lab, led by Prof. Scott Moura. Proficient in Python, MATLAB, and PyTorch, I have also contributed to several pioneering projects at major utility companies in China.
