Yifei Xu (Hsu)
I'm a first-year Ph.D. student at Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Tandon School of Engineering, New York University at Brooklyn, New York, under the supervision of Prof. Yuzhang Lin.
I hold dual Master’s degrees from UC Berkeley (IEOR) and Tsinghua University (Electrical Engineering), where I focused on large-scale optimization and machine learning for industrial and renewable energy systems, advised by Prof. Ye Guo. During my time at Berkeley, I contributed to a capstone project funded by TotalEnergies and the eCal Lab, led by Prof. Scott Moura. Proficient in Python, MATLAB, and PyTorch, I have also contributed to several pioneering projects at major utility companies in China.
